I'm an avid traveler and lover of the little things. I've lived in Spain going on two years now. I study translation and teach english. I love learning/teaching languages because I believe through communication we develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and of other cultures.

I usually stay in hostels or with friends when I travel and the difference is staggering. In hostels, you mostly meet people who know about as much as you do about the area and the culture/history but when you stay with locals you can get a much better picture of the lifestyle and culture. I think both experiences are worth having, but I'd like more exposure to the local habits.

I like listening to music in different languages because the rhythm is much different and I feel like I learn about styles and trends... I watch just about any movie with a decent plot and if I visit your residence I will have probably 20+ movies on my laptop. My favorite book is the Alchemist by Paolo Cohelo. I 've been trying to read a few of his other books as I travel but I'm so easily distracted.

myself lol I'm a enthusiastic an open person and I can at the very least be that bright eyed fascinated kid gauking at every building and every bit of history that I'm shown. In addition, I believe I'm a good friend. Although at the moment I can't share my apartment, I can share my experience and knowledge about Sevilla if you're ever down my way.
