ABOUT ME

I am a recent transplant to Portland. I love the mountains, all the water. I'm excited about exploring this new place. I enjoy being active, moving and shaking, but definitely need time to myself to wind down. Since graduating school, I have taken to teaching yoga, exploring the mind and body as a tool, the breath as a connector, I love to talk about this.

Get comfortable in the uncomfortable. Let go of the 'should'. Be joyous, courageous, and explore the connection.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My current residence is a tent in the backyard of some friendly peeps I have met in Portland, a few I knew before arrival, a few I have met. The few I have met led me to CouchSurfing as a way to meet new people/community and also potentially find a place to live for the summer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not used CouchSurfing before as in through this site. However in my traveling experience I have crashed on peoples couches, mostly people I knew previously. My favorite thing about traveling is the people you meet along the way, the best ways I have found to learn about a new place is through the people who can show you the ins and outs.

Interests

I love trying new things, most recently I have enjoyed slack lining, mountain biking, hanging out on porches, making coffee, and yoga!

Current musical obsession: The Avett Brothers and Mum.
I like watching movies, have a problem with falling asleep. But my next attempt: Friday Night Lights the movie.
