ABOUT ME

I grew up in Seattle but I've lived in San Francisco, Boston, NYC and Portland as well. I like to go to shows, make art, ride my bike, design clothes and sew them, cook/bake, get tattooed, collect trinkets, photograph life and enjoy any of these things with friends. I also like to read when I have the time, and donate in various ways to non profit organizations when I'm able to. I'm pretty open minded. As long as you don't complain a ton, we'll get along just fine. Hosting me is also like hiring a photographer for your weekend, because I'll give you tons of fun photos.

Music, Movies, and Books

I almost always fall asleep in movies but I've seen the first half of a lot of really good ones!

I mostly listen to punk and indie/alternative (?) music, but I also like folky stuff as long as it's not too warbly or wishy washy. Over the last year or so I've been getting into rap and hip hop, but I think I could tolerate just about anything for at least a car ride.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't been to many countries, but I've been to most of the United States. There is something awesomely nostalgic about trashy Americana -- you know what I'm talking about, neon signs, weird things you see at gas stations, crappy diner coffee or anything open 24/7.

I can teach you to cook a mean casserole, or help you finish that art/sewing project you started and never finished.
