ABOUT ME

need to learn, think too much, need to dance, need to eat veggies, try to play the guitar, need to write, love hugs, love being outside, sometimes smile too much, sometimes don't smile at all, need to be involved, want to do more.... at the moment a lot of my energy is going into trying to make myself at home somewhere in the world, or wherever I am at any given moment. At this moment I am trying to make myself at home in this new town I have just moved to.

I am sitting at a life bifurcation at the moment, and learning spanish and absorbing the beauty and culture of europe, while sharing with people what I know and do seems like a good use of my time while living and deciding what educational opportunity I will invest myself in next.

and I suppose I think that if we try, we can find we have something in common with everyone. So it is best to be open and loving with everyone we meet.

at the moment I am feeling that bureaucracy makes people bureaucrazy... visa applications may feed on the human soul.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I have been couchsurfing without using couchsurfing, for years I guess. Travelling and meeting or inviting people to my home.

Now I have stayed in many homes on my last hitching journey from Barcelona to Turkey and back, lots of laughing, great food but a little too much cigarette lung for my liking.

Intereses

I love food (on all levels), particularly vegetables. Planting, growing, tending, cleaning, showing them off, cutting, cooking and eating.

people, plants, tree climbing, river mucking, tumbling around on the grass, music, art, books, sewing, drinks, discussion...very interested in discussing, talking, sharing: politics, social theories and PRACTICE. Systems of power and education and organization and ways of communicating and accessing resources and teaching and learning.

Dancing, stretching, moving...also good with music. But I am interested in almost everything.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I don't think I am an expert in anything, but not too modest to say that I am better than average at cooking and using food to heal what ails.

I like to stretch with people or help people be more flexible in general (mentally too!). I used to coach gymnastics.

I can sew pretty well, but always want to learn more practical skills for making what I need.

I really want to learn to blow glass...that's on my to do list.

I love inspiring activism stories and techniques. But I'll learn or at least try to from just about any conversation or experience.
