ABOUT ME

I am a fun, loving, caring and outgoing person that enjoys sharing the beauty of life with others. I strongly believe that it is important to live out your dreams, because "where there's a will, there's a way. Nothing is impossible to a willing mind."

I'm generally always smiling and love to laugh (if you ask any of my friends). I have a passion for learning new things and striving to make new strides each day. I believe we are all here for a purpose and obstacles help make us stronger. I love the arts: music, dance, poetry, gymnastics, martial arts, etc. And love learning new things.

I aim to live, laugh, love, and let be loved. What you put out into the world, is what you will find you receive in return.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to participate by attending couch surfing events and showing people around NY or Boston, which are the two areas I currently reside in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have heard great things about couch surfing from many of my friends. I have not exactly couch surfed or hosted any couch surfers, but I have attended a few couch surfing outings. I have met some pretty amazing people through those outings who are fun, exciting, and have a passion for learning about others lives and cultures. It has been great engaging with them, because its great to meet new adventurous people who are on the same wavelength as you!

兴趣

I love to dance, study martial arts, read books on psychology and the mind. I have quite often been told that I have a knack for public speaking and acting. I also aspire to learn how to design fashion sketches and practice doing those things in my spare time. I also use to play the piano and do gymnastics, both of which I try to practice from time to time just so that I do not completely lose my (small) skills haha!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing I have done in my lifetime is taking this current trip to South Africa. I have met some amazing people and continue to learn new things about myself each day. I would not trade this experience for anything! I feel like this experience will help in my future growth and development in fulfilling my purpose in life and in my career field.

Things that I was taught, learned, and would like to share with others:

- Always meet in public places.
- Be cautious with traveling alone.
- Be safe and think through decisions before you act on them.
- Try not to travel/go out alone late at night.
- Be smart with the decisions you make, but dont live your life inside a box afraid to do anything; because you can always find danger in any and everything.
