About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk.
ABOUT ME
I'm an Oregon transplant living in Seattle. I moved here on a whim and its worked out pretty well so far. I'm easy going and always down to meet new people. My ultimate goal is to work in international tourism by organizing and leading hiking and local transportation tours of different countries all over the world...I also day dream of being a stand up comic.
PHILOSOPHY
Seeing the world is one of the most important things anyone can do. Not by visiting monuments or buying souveniers, but by meeting people who live their lives in ways different from yourself.
Wow, that was deep.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I took an organized trip to the middle east and came back and did 3 months of couch surfing with friends and family all over the US. It was a great experience for the most part and I really enjoyed seeing what all the different places had to offer. I think its great to see things that typically aren't normal tourist destinations, and staying with local residents is the best way to do that. I wouldn't trade my experience for the world, and I would love to be able to provide that same type of experience for others.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to mostly alternative music, but I love some rap, country, and especially reggaeton.
I will watch pretty much anything as far as movies go.
I read mostly non-fiction...and far as authors go, I've been reading lots of Augusten Burroughs, James Frey, David Sedaris, and Jack Kerouac.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got to visit Petra in Jordan. That was unbelievable.
One of my favorite moments was during my visit with a friend who lived in San Clemente, CA. We got to go surfing all 4 days I was there and the very first day, it was getting late and we were on our boards out past the break watching the sunset...I will never forget how surreal that moment was.
I climb a lot of mountains, and there is nothing better than the feeling of being on top, knowing you don't have to climb anymore.
