I am a brazilian from Belo Horizonte city, but I moved out in 2014 with my partner to live in Rio Claro, a medium size city near São Paulo. We are both very extroverted people and we are open to host travellers and share nice moments with them!

I am a biologist currently doing a doctorate on plant evolution. I believe that knowledge is for it's own sake and I consider myself as a privileged person for working in scientific research. There are still so many things to learn about... :)

I am very sociable, curious and open-minded. I am also helpful and responsible, so when I am hosting someone I expect him to act like I'd do if I was in his shoes. I believe in a changing world and I like those who are willing to fight for their rights. I am very happy to give voice to those who historically have none.

I am here because I love meeting new people and places, particularly natural landscapes. I also appreciate a nice conversation, laughing, dancing, having a beer and trying out local food. And other bunch of simple things that make our lives much better. Of course, I'm very interested in learning new languages and improving my English and Spanish (and also my French, the worst among them) . Hope I can practice it with other couchsurfers!
