ABOUT ME

I am a friendly, 34 year old woman, who likes to live, learn and have fun along the way. I love to meet people and will some day in the next few years move to japan. I am learning japanese at the moment, but know very little so far. I would like to travel more and meet new friends worldwide.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am afraid that I share a flat at the moment, and cannot offer anyone a couch, but I can offer coffee, friendly conversation and a guide around if wanted, if anyone was to need a place to stay, though and was to give me enough warning, I may be able to arrange time off and talk my flatmate around, to letting you stay lol, either that or I may be able to find a place nearby to me, that may let you use there couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first couch surf experience with a girl in Japan called Sharla, and it was an amazing experience, can't wait to do this again and hope someday, that I will be able to return the favour.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love japanese movies and anime, the more the merrier, as well as worldwide films, too many others to mention, although i do love independent films alot more, or the b movies that never made it to the big screen, like bubbahotep, and I have to say I am not too fond of chick flicks. Music anything at all, my taste varies very much, currently listening to alot of orange range, yuri yuri, mad capsules, hitomi takahashi and nakajima miyuki at the moment. Books, I am currently reading the hagakure and ninjutsu history and tradition, but love issac asimov, biographies like wild swans, lots really, depends what sounds interesting at the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being inside the sword museum in tokyo, being inside the great pyramid in Cairo. Watching wild Bison roam out of the fog and into a watering hole at 4am in africa. Looking out across the night view of tokyo from tokyo tower, breathtaking. Watching the harvest shinto festival in chichibu. Watching the sunset on the sahara desert.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a beginner,and have only had one experience, to date, of couchsurfing, but hope to have more as amazing as that one, and hope to share more with you all at a later date, although I have shared my hospitality and couch with many strangers upon just meeting them before, and has proved to have given me some of the best freinds I could have ever asked for.
