ABOUT ME

I am a travel-manic workoholic German, currently located in Zurich, trying to finish up my PhD. I do a lot of sports, love the opera, reading, make music (but most my friends say I can make their ears bleed with my violin ;-)

If youre around, want to get a city tour through Zurich, want me to organize a visit to the local theater or opera or want to just go for a run along the beautiful river Limmat, drop me a line and we will make it happen!

I had the most amazing travel experiences when I met locals! I was invited to a local radio show in Copan, Guatemala, where they played Rammstein to welcome the German guests ;-), or got invited by a Japanese business man to a dinner comprised of local food: I never ate so many things that still had a head.. ;-)

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking one of my (more recent) hobbies, particularly Italian - so pasta or lasagna is something I could offer. I did boxing for 10 years: if you want a lesson, dont be afraid - nobody will get hurt, I promise! As I work on my PhD in rehabilitation engineering, I could share the little I know on how the brain controls the body (but dont complain if I cant stop talking about it once you asked ;-)
