ABOUT US

We are an adventurously laid back couple who met while currently living in Sydney, Australia. Our shared interest of traveling, the beach life, and photography (among other things) has connected us deeply. Mischa hails from Germany and is every bit the part of your typical surfer - blonde hair, laid back, and always looking for the good surf. Brenda was born and bred in the US but her family originates from the Philippines. She has two dogs who are basically her children!

PHILOSOPHY

I am a believer in generally treating people the way you would like to be treated which is the reason I always treat people kindly first.

I also believe in learning something new everyday no matter how big or small. I love constantly learning especially outside of academics because real-life experiences are how people can truly learn!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Brenda has helped host several couchsurfers while living in San Diego and have made friends in doing so. The world can be a big scary place and we love being able to connect and assure fellow travelers that there are good people out there that genuinely want to help out and be friendly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For a few years Brenda assisted her former roomie host couchsurfers. She has surfed a couple times whilst traveling in New Zealand while Mischa (being a true vagabond) has randomly surfed by talking with locals
