I'm a senior at OSU, majoring in English Pre-Education and Women's Studies. I'm set to graduate in June of 2011 and am looking into going to grad school or perhaps Teach for America or the Peace Corps.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My boyfriend and I would like to visit New York City in December. We've both visited the city before and had amazing experiences. We both have wanted to visit again, and we've been talking about going together for months, so I thought we should start looking into it and actually go! We're both students with extremely limited funds, which is why I'm here looking for someone who would be willing to let us crash for a few days. We'd like if our host would be able to go out with us once or twice, as we've both already seen all the touristy stuff from our previous visits to the city, so we're looking for a different kind of experience than simply seeing the landmarks and major tourist spots.

Helping with rebuilding efforts in post-Katrina New Orleans.
White-water rafting in West Virginia.

Thousands of people jumping into Mirror Lake in freezing cold November weather during Beat Michigan Week. GO BUCKS!
