ABOUT ME

This account is decadently out of date. Since CC won't let us change the city, our profile has been left in Budapest, while we're in Berlin. We're on mission Canada right now, and we're in the process of moving inside of Berlin, so we hope to be up for hosting again in the middle of July 2016.

A little bit about us: We've all traveled a lot in Europe. I lived in France for four years, my bf in Liechtenstein and Germany and our house mate in Germany. We're all pretty open-minded and have a relaxed and fun community atmosphere in the house. We often have friends visiting and staying at our place and we like having company. Besides setting the coffee maker on fire, we also enjoying burning toast.

PHILOSOPHY

We feel strongly that you shouldn't make coffee on the stove if you haven't actually put water in the coffee maker.

It seems that our most recent list of interests include melting our coffee maker on the stove and finding excuses for not weather-proofing the windows. When we're not doing these things we like to cook, eat, read, study languages, go out in town, bike, swim, draw buildings, write, travel, dance, sleep, live...

We're always watching, reading or listening to something. Because I'm a tour guide, it's mostly historical stuff and Gábor's into lots of Urban planning articles.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I biked from Germany to Romania through the Carpathians over three weeks and then hitchhiked back home to Strasbourg. We all have cool travel stories to share and we like to collect new ones.

Lots of traveling in Europe. Lots of language knowledge. Many years studying classical music. An intimate knowledge of bars and cheap restaurants in Budapest! Lots of interest in buildings and design. An obsession with public transportation. And now lots of interest and a growing knowledge of Berlin history.
