ABOUT ME

I am a 62 year uoung African heritage females. I am a spiritual seeker and very open. My goal in life is to accept what is in each moment. I lived in Chicago, Illinois for 20 years before my exodus to Oregon. I am striving to purify my life by letting go of attachments. I am drawn to the work of Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle and AdyaShanti. I strive to live an authentic life of questioning what is true.

PHILOSOPHY

I create my future by present moment thoughts.
I am interested in a cash-less society or coming as close to it as possible.
There is no "one way" or "right way".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am interested in travel. I am willing to accept other CouchSurfers into my home and would love to stay with others in the couchSurfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am just beginning on the journey of CouchSurfing. I heard of CouchSurfing from the CraigsList community and am looking forward to welcoming fellow CouchSurfers into my home and visiting others.

I love Kirtana's music especially the lyrics. I have little time for reading, I listen to a lot of books on tape while driving in my car. My interest are in books on Spirituality, ie Power of Now, Loving What Is, Joel Goldsmith, etc. I loved the movie "Sweet November" and Her".

My two children and myself left behind a middle-class lifestyle in Chicago to land in Oregon without knowing anyone or having a job waiting. We didn't even know where Oregon was on on the map. We just jumped and trusted in the parachute. We have built a community of friends and family from ground zero. That is amazing!

I am willing to share whatever "truths" I have managed to capture from other teachers over the years. I am very willing to be present with others without having to fill our space with the language of words or "doing".

I am a people person. I love to hear the magic of other peoples lives and hopes and dreams andchallenges. I have highly developed intuitive listening skills. Most people enjoy the attention I am able to gift them with because I have no judgement.
Would be happy to make my hosts life easier in any way I possibly can.
