ABOUT ME

I am a 21 year old college student who tries to travel as much as possible and meet people from as many different places and cultures as possible. I'm a Human Development major so I'm very interested in listening to people and getting to know a part of their lives. I am currently in Spain and will travel Europe for another week before going back to LA. I've made great friends and I will make it my mission to come back next year and visit those people I've grown so fond of.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the happiest that you can be; even if it means living the life that you're not expected to live. Make those around you happy and you will see that happiness does not exist unless it's shared.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new here so what I want to do is get to know people. I would be more than happy to show people my town (Los Angeles and surrounding cities), a couch will be available once I'm back in town and settled in. :)

My friend made a great presentation on couchsurfing for our Spanish conversation class here in Spain and I thought it was such a great thing to start around many communities! Now, I want to get involved!

Interests

I enjoy going to out to social places, take advantage of a friend's company, listening, staying in some nights and watching a good movie, reading a book in the afternoons, swimming, sports bars, and EATING! I love trying out new foods! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

C.R.A.Z.Y, Shelter (filmed in my neighbor city, San Pedro, CA), Step Brothers and similar comedy shows like the Office and Family Guy. I love so many kinds of music from American classics to foreign bands of the moment. I am currently reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven. My favorite book is Catcher in the Rye.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I still can't believe that I was able to go to President Obama's Inauguration. I was able to see him and most importantly, I will one day be telling the generations after me about this great event!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love talking about ambiguous subjects where there is no one right answer. Literature, symbolism, life, death, the mind, love, hate, music, art, etc. I love talking about cultures I've encountered and love listening to other people's hometowns and their culture! Again, I am a Human Development major so all this is of golden interest to me!
