Music, Movies, and Books

I generally like all kinds of music and I went through a lot of phases. At the moment it's more (sophisticated) Pop like Jason Mraz. I'm totally enthralled by Mayer Hawthorne. And Tool is an all-time favorite of mine. I can listen to harder stuff, In Flames maybe, but generally not for long. During my time in Leeds I listened to a lot of Indie/Britpop acts, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, etc.
I play a lot of instruments. Chiefly I play the Guitar and the Trombone. If I would practice more, I could be a decent drummer and bass man as well. I like singing as well.
I read a lot, mostly in English. I seem to prefer American Literature, classic and (post)modern. I only recently read Catcher in the Rye and loved it. Same goes for The Old Man and the Sea. Managed to chew threw Tropic of Cancer. But I also like newer stuff, Bret Easton Ellis and even some Paul Auster.
An deutscher Literatur habe ich in letzter Zeit eigentlich nur Martin Suter gelesen, dafür aber auch das komplette Œuvre.
I like watching Films, but I prefer a decent action movie over more sophisticated stuff. I love all the Michael Mann Films (especially Heat) and also Robert Rodriguez. Donnie Darko is another favorite. I'm not so much into Series, but I really enjoyed Babylon 5 and Firefly (but then again, these are not your typical run-of-the-mill series).
