ABOUT ME

Too proud to be born and raised in Oakland, CA, I am PRESENT in the moment, TRANSPARENT, and super FLEXIBLE. Although my friends in La Paz call me the "hostess with the mostess", when I am the guest I try to take up as little space as possible. I can honestly say I am as open as they come; seen and experienced too much not to approach life with a big, giant hug.

I am a Bay Area native on my first post abroad. La Paz is a remarkable city, I think Latin America's hidden treasure, if you ever want to visit :) I love to cook (& EAT,) dance, travel, hike, meet new people, and make lasting memories. I believe that "life begins at the end of your comfort zone,"so Spanish lessons, yoga classes, constantly discovering La Paz, and challenging my clients to think, read, and write critically are my current adventures.

I'm quite passionate about my family and it is my dream to facilitate equitable conversations to build awareness, compassion, and critical thinking.

Seeing my 13 year old sister sing "Killing Me Softly" solo. She had always been to shy to sing alone in front of anyone before that point and I had missed her other performances being away at school. She had a forest green callow-necked shirt on her tiny frame, black rectangular frames around her deep brown eyes, and the shy smile of an awkward preteen. When she opened her mouth the voice of a grown, sultry woman pushed its way out and I was speechless, tears streaming down my face.

In El Salar de Uyuni there is a tiny hot spring on the side of the road leading through the Reserva Eduardo Avaroa. With a tiny stone wall and underground water flowing, there is no concept of time. It's just you, the flamingo, unending horizon of the laguna, and a stillness unlike anything I've ever experienced.
