ABOUT ME

My husband and I are in our late 20s. We love to travel and work hard all year so we can take at least one month-long vacation. So far we have made it to North America, Australia, Africa, and South America. No matter how exotic or historical our travel destinations are, we have always found that the most memorable parts of our trips are the people we meet. Hopefully couchsurfing will make our future trips even more memorable.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are open to hosting at our home in Southern California and have had a great first experience. We also hope to be hosted by other couchsurfers in our future travels.

Interests

Together we like camping, hiking and cooking. We are also big boardgamers (Ticket to Ride, Tichu, Ubongo, and Stone Age are a few of our favorites). Danny likes playing soccer and basketball. I like taking photographs. We are not party people and generally like to relax and stay in after work.

Music, Movies, and Books

Danny thoroughly enjoys anything by John Steinbeck. We enjoy great series like The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and more.

Mychael loves classic movies. Her favorites are All the King's Men, Gone With the Wind, and Casablanca. Other favorites of ours are the Godfather and LOTR. Love Actually is a favorite around the holidays.

We can teach boardgames. Mychael can give you photography tips. We can share some of our memorable travel experiences. We can show you around our favorite places, beaches and our awesome local farmer's market.
