CURRENT MISSION

to take my two daughters on a trip they will never forget, sharing with them all the places I have visited myself as a young girl and as an adult. I want them to really get a sense of the world by meeting the people of the communities we plan to visit.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Wimbledon, England where my extended family still resides. I moved to America when I was 7 but spent every other summer in England. i have grown up all around America; Pennsylvania,Texas,California and live with my husband of 17 years in Fairfax,CA. We have 2 daughters (11 & almost 14) and 2 dogs.
I started traveling by myself at a very young age of 14 and then took my first trip with classmates at 17 to tour Europe. I have been back 4 times since and it's been 14 years and I MISS IT ALL!!! I am So looking forward to this summer.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is ever changing and so am I. I try to live life to the fullest and I keep myself very busy.... i'll have plenty of time to rest when I'm older.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The last few times I have been to Europe the buses, ferries and trains were all greeted with locals sharing photos and asking me to stay at their homes. Those are my most memorable experiences because I felt connected to the community. Some cases I got my own room or even the whole apartment and some times I got a couch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stayed in a girls dorm in the old city of Jurasalem and had Shabbat dinner with a family. I was the only non-Jew there and got woken up all night to perform simple tasks that they had forgotten to do before sunset....like turn out the lights :)
