ABOUT ME

i like things that are homemade, that are genuine and that are fun. same with people. i work at a thrift store and value a good story over most things. i'm pretty simple, i love food, beer, books, bikes, music, animals, kids, and wandering. i love to take photos but wouldn't call myself good at it ;) definitely have an artistic kick but still figuring out what to do with it!! am looking to work in the nonprofit/community orgaizing/general do gooder sector.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really would like to travel as much as possible and am looking for couchsurfing to help me with that mission! My favorite feeling is that moment when you feel at home or comfortable in a new place, and I think staying with locals is so important for that. I also loooooooooove to talk to and meet new people and this is a great vehicle :)

Music, Movies, and Books

so many! i love david lynch and other surreal-type things. i especially love campy, weirdy, dusty old movies. i mostly read non fiction but am looking to branch out more in fiction. i like ray bradbury, thomas pynchon, sartre, barbara kingsolver, james joyce. music is absolutely one of my passions. i listen to a lot of punk and hardcore, and motown and funk!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

i can mend nearly everything and have a ton of ideas for repurposing! i love to sew and would love to help you fix whatever needs fixing.
i'm not a great cook but i'm definitely decent and very enthusiastic! am especially good at cooking for large groups of people on a budget, and vegan and vegetarian cooking.
