ABOUT ME

For our upcoming South East Asia trip it will be myself and my awesome girlfriend. She is way cooler and funnier than me, promise. Super easy-going, hilarious, and just an easy-to-get-along-with type girl.

Me: Known to be pretty sarcastic; very dry sense of humor. I like to be prepared and do my research ahead of time. Once I know the options and have educated myself, I flip the switch and am very go-with-flow, easy-going, and laid-back.

PHILOSOPHY

Take a chance because you never know how perfect something can turn out.
Life is short, make the most of it! Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.

All good things. The people I have stayed with have been incredible.

There are other places out there that I want to explore! Couchsurfing has been awesome so far and look forward to many more adventures!

Interests

Me: Hockey and my dogs. I have played hockey since I was 3 years old and still play men's league to this day. I love to travel, meet new people, and just have fun.

Girlfriend: Super into soccer, hiking, reading her kindle, and of course ME. I am typing this up without her in the room, so not sure about the last one... :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I had the privilege to see the Gold Medal Hockey Game when the Olympics were up in Vancouver in 2010. The feeling and excitement, when Zach Parise scored with 24.4 seconds left to tie the game was one of the most exciting moments of my life. I get the chills just talking about it. You could cut the tension in the stadium with a knife. Then.... Canada Scores... Game Over... I went from one of the most exciting moments to absolute shock and awe. Just the fact that I was able to go to the game is a once in a lifetime experience in itself. The dramatic fashion in which the game transpired, made it all that much better!
