ABOUT ME

I never really know how to describe myself, I think it's always best to leave it up to others to decide. After all everyone has his own view and opinion on people.
All I can say for myself is that I've wanted to go travelling around the world for such a long time and I've finally had the courage to do so. Sold everything I owned and was living off whatever fitted in my backpack for a year. I'm pretty proud of myself for doing so, not everyone gets to experience such freedom in life. It was definitely the best thing I've ever done!
During my year of travels I met someone and fell in love. We are now engaged to get married and expecting a baby in April. I'm looking to permanently settle down in Australia now with my Aussie partner.

PHILOSOPHY

If there's anything in life you really want, go for it! You don't want to live with the regrets of not having done this or that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Always ready to meet for a coffee or show you around. Unfortunatly since we're in the middle of finding a new house for when the baby comes, we don't have a couch available at the moment, but as soon as we're all settled down, anyone's welcome to stay!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had a few experiences while travelling myself, but all of them were very positive. I've met some very interesting and cool people via CS.

"Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain" is my absolute favourite movie. Music-wise I like many different things, e.g. Buddha Bar, Lounge Music, Fiona Apple, Damien Rice and many more...
When it comes to books I love crime books! Have recently discovered Lisa Gardner, great author!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I worked on one of the sailing boats on the Whitsunday Islands. It was amazing! I loved it!! For me it was an absolutely amazing experience.
Oh yeah, I also went paragliding while in Indonesia. Absolutely fantastic!

My partner and I like to go fishing every now and then. We'd be happy to take anyone interested along and teach you the tricks of catching a fish :)
