HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By surfing couches and by hosting people, showing them my favourite spots in vienna. Hosting people is like "passive travelling" for me, because of the stories and experiences people share!
At the moment I cannot offer a couch (yet) but I am happy to meet for a coffe!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting together with my best friend Ruth in 2008. We were sharing an appartment back then and it was a really great experience.
Hosting people makes me feel like a "passive traveller" (in additio to active travelling:), because getting to know people from everywhere in the world, hearing their stories and experiences almost makes me feel like I've been to these places myself.
My first experience as sufer was in june 2008 in iceland, which was really amazing. our hosts were so kind, open and helpful and we had a lot of fun with them.

兴趣

Music. Playing instruments (at them moment mainly piano, but my violin, guitar and drumset are also waiting in storage to be played again some day) and listening to music.
I am also a big fan of dancing, going to classical concerts, travelling, hiking, biking, camping, swimming, diving, books, comics and baking.

音乐、电影和书籍

I love fantasy books, i.e. terry pratchett's discworld novels, walter moers' zamonien books, lord of the rings, harry potter, the hunger games, ... but I also like and read non fantasy books:)
There is no music I don't like. When I'm at home, I love listening to Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday. When I'm on my way through the city, I love to listen to e.g. reggae, dancehall and ska.
