I am a down to earth, open minded, adventure-loving person. I love spontaneous plans and am always down to try something new. Tell me the craziest activity I can do in your city and I will most likely say yes (unless it involves torturing animals or spending enormous amounts of money).

I'm not a big fan of night clubs/crazy partying and am mostly staying clear of alcohol lately. I would rather cook a nice dinner together, play a board game/party game, wander around off the beaten path in the city or go on a hike in some beautiful nature.

I have the idea to get a small tattoo in every country I visit (at least until I start feeling like I'm covered in too much ink), so hit me up with your best tattoo artist recommendations. I like custom simplistic designs that usually have some connection to my personal experience in the country. So far I have been inked in Netherlands, Ireland, Croatia, Turkey, France and Estonia.

If you're wondering why I've had this account for years but haven't hosted or surfed, it's mostly because I have been living with people that haven't been fans of the idea.. and travelling with the same people 🙃 So I kind of forgot this existed until now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling for culture, not just for checking a country off a list. Couchsurfing seems like a great opportunity to get to know other cultures and find friends from around the world.

Interests

I learn pole dance and aerial hammock, occasionally enjoy indoor(so far) bouldering, like travelling and learning about new cultures. I enjoy cooking/baking, exploring vegan restaurants, reading, writing poetry, watching psychological thrillers and mysteries and playing board games.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love mostly rock and metal music, but I listen to something from almost every genre. I do tend to lean more towards lyrical music.

I like to read poetry, crime thrillers and old classics like Decameron.

My memory sucks so I don't remember movies well enough to choose a favourite. I did enjoy the Star Wars movies a lot.

Some shows I have enjoyed are Black Mirror, Bojack Horseman, The Good Place, Brooklyn Nine Nine, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Behind Her Eyes... The list goes on.

I am currently in the middle of watching MCU(movies + TV series) chronologically.
