ABOUT ME
I'm currently in searching mode. After a brief stint working the corporate nightmare, I've been keeping a steady balance of travel mixed with establishing a new life in NYC, while splitting time in WA State. Somewhere, a balance is to be struck. But in the meantime, I'm seeing music, meeting people, riding trains, conversing with oceans and living my life. So far, so good.
PHILOSOPHY
I have one mode that applies to all people I know. If our personalities don't immediately spontaneously combust, I'll treat you with the same respect as anyone else in my life. Life is too complicated as-is to play different characters in different plays.
The golden rule rules all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As of today, I have not couchsurfed. But I have traveled among couchsurfers. They have tried to lure me into their lifestyle. I have resisted for a while. But their amazingness has been too great, and I need to start participating on their level. Enter a dose of utilitarianism, mixed with a hard-wired "share and share-alike" mentality, I'm on board.
Interests
Music (bluegrass, old-timey, old-country, American roots, proto-rock, psychedelic rock, hippie bands, jazz/funk, and just about anything cool/interesting/esoteric/virtuosic)
Cooking (I love to cook, and make smiles and full bellies)
Travel (I'm a born road-tripper. From age 1, onward I have traveled. First the States, then Central America, then select places in Europe, then Japan, more Central America, more Europe, more States. There's more to see, but I have no qualms seeing the same thing I've seen before if it holds Magic or an otherwise unseen facet)
