To go with the flow and see where it takes me
I don't think anyone can be summed up with words, especially if they are the ones describing themselves. Mark Twain once said "biographies are but the clothes and buttons of the man. The biography of the man himself cannot be written." However, if I had to describe myself it would be open-minded, adventurous, caring, curious, and excitable. I grew up in a small state and in a smaller town and realized there is a enormous world out there to explore!
"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not" ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Pay it Forward
"Courage is resistance to fear; mastery of fear. Not an absence of fear" ~Mark Twain
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
trying to enjoy CS and share the word/experiences with others
Anything, I love trying new things. Being outdoors and active is a passion of mine. Biking, climbing, hiking, swimming, rafting, kayaking, snowshoeing, basketball, football (American and Global), or anything! I'll try just about anything. I am interested in meeting good people and having a good time. I like getting know people's story - not just their past but their present, their opinions, their future. Them.
- outdoor activities
- cliff jumping
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
Leaves are falling all around, It's time I was on my way.
Thanks to you, I'm much obliged for such a pleasant stay.
But now it's time for me to go. The autumn moon lights my way.
For now I smell the rain, and with it pain, and it's headed my way.
Sometimes I grow so tired, but I know I've got one thing I got to do... Ramble On
I guess words are a mothafucka because they can be great. Or they can degrade, or even worse they can teach hate.
If I could be you, you could be me
I could be you, you could be me
I could walk a mile in your shoes.....
And you could walk a mile in my bare feet
[Michael Franti and Spearhead]
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I graduated from college and paid for it with my own hard-earned money.
I've done a lot of cliff jumping before, my highest jump is 66ft. Anything higher than that and you will need to wear shoes to protect your feet from the impact.
I spent 10 days sailing around the Virgin Islands. Living on a boat was something different I'd never experienced before and seeing all the different islands was fantastic.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like the idea of Couchsurfing university - we are pioneering a new age of traveling, together. One couch at a time.
