COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We started hosting through SERVAS, then Hospitality Club, and finally joined CouchSurfing. We really enjoy all the people we meet, especially those from foreign countries.

Building communities, usually through shared food.
Urban farming. We have chickens for eggs, and rabbits and Muscovy ducks for meat.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have raised, slaughtered, cooked, and eaten chickens, ducks, and rabbits on our small city lot in Seattle. It sometimes feels amazing to be able to do this.

My 3 favorite day hikes are Chesler Park in Canyonlands National Park in Utah, Golden Canyon/Gower Gulch Loop in Death Valley National Park in California, and Green Mountain here in Washington State.

However, the most amazing thing I have seen are children growing up and becoming adults.
