Hey everyone!
I major American Culture and Literature with a minor of Political Science in Bilkent University which is located in the capital of Turkey, Ankara. I am a third year student this year and I am planning to do my masters on gender studies when I graduate! Right now I am in Turku, Finland doing my erasmus exchange and I mostly study gender and literature here. This is actually my second exchange because I was in the USA as a senior in highschool and I lived in Missouri, St. Louis for a year.

I am pretty talkative and friendly. I love getting to know new people and sharing their experiences! I am already studying cultures in my university, and I love what I do so I am open to experience any cultures there is to! I think I am open-minded and people feel comfortable around me.

I have two cats that I am completely in love with back home, in Izmir but I study in the capital city so I do not get to see them very often. I do not know about my hosting situation right now because I do not know if I am going to have my own apartment or a dorm after this exchange period but fingers crossed!

I had two Couchsurfing experiences even though I did not have an account here my Polish friend encouraged me and we had hosts in Lithuania and Helsinki, Finland and it was so much fun. It is really nice to be able to trust people!

I would like to keep travelling and meeting new people and getting to know differences and Couchsurfing ables you to do that! Amazing.

My favorite music, the type of music that I listen to would be more rap, hiphop, R&B, reggae but besides these types of music I am in love with classics. My favorite rapper would be Drake and I listen to a lot of his music but my favorite son ever is Everything I Do, I Do It For You by Bryan Adams and it is also my parents' song.

For movies, I am in love with Harry Potter series. I can watch them any time, any day. But my forever favorite movie would be Frozen. I love cartoons and animated movies so much.

For books, I have many favorites but currently I am interested in books which show some gender features in it for people to analize so I have been reading a lot of foreign women writers, mostly African.
