📍August-2020 Beating the impossible in the age of Coronavirus and all that travel restrictions, I went to the republic of Sudan 🇸🇩 via Turkey🇹🇷 to witness the birth of my new angles Twin baby boys 👼🏻👼🏻 🎉🎉🎉 and returned back safely after two months.
📍November- 2019 Malaysia 🇲🇾 and UAE 🇦🇪 opening trip to SE Asia, started in Dubai to Kuala Lumpur, visited the famous Georgetown in Penang to enjoyed the awesome food and culture.
Dubai always great hub and place to have short hangout time for experienced CSer.
📍June-2019 Chicago 2.0 🇺🇸 Couch Crash, this is annual event fun don’t miss it if you can.
📍April-2019 Egypt 🇪🇬 & KSA 🇸🇦 I hangout with Wifey and other great CSers in the Egyptian Resort of Hurgada - by the Red Sea 🌊 Snorkeling & Scuba diving. Also visited the holy City of Mecca 🕋 and CS in Jeddah KSA.
📍March- 2019 Mexico City 🇲🇽 Couch Crash, I was new to the culture but goto love their way of Couchsurfing “Viva la vida.”
📍November-2018 Khartoum Sudan 🇸🇩 Couch Crash, always wonderful to be BACK to Khartoum n meet extended family. Please put this place on notice if you’re to visit Egypt & Ethiopia, you’ll be overwhelmed with the local hospitality and I am very happy to see the growing locals CS community.
📍October-2018 Washington DC USA 🇺🇸 10th Couch Crash, this was the bomb event I highly recommend this annual event for any CS traveler.
📍July -2018 Chicago 🇺🇸 Couch Crash, very interesting group of Couchsurfers, my Moto was (CLE🌆, Books📚 & Dates fruit 🍑) the Dates get one Brazilian CSer confused and start talking to me about all her prior Dating Experiences 💪🏻😁.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Great if you are reading this my name is Dosa** now you can confidently reach out and definitely you will get responses from me 👋🏻
I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures, it has been a big part of my personal identity and CSing offered me that opportunities.
I grew up traveling between small towns in America Midwest and the Sahel region of Africa “Test your geography?” spent many years in the border area of the republics of Sudan🇸🇩 and Chad🇹🇩 sometimes living in a nomadic lifestyle traveling around in Semi-truck with local tribal families.
I also traveled to more than 40+ American States 🇺🇸 riding in a 1980s VW Station-Wagon Style.
My travel journeys took me to areas in this Earth🌎 that I never thought I’ll be able to visit multiple times.
To keep with the spirit of travel, I am always hacking new plans to explore and visit other places !!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music (Jazz, World Pop, Reggae, Afro beats/Sudanese) and live performances. I travel reading Lonely Plant guidebooks “Old school” and traveler Magazines also long Novels like “The Wizard of the Crow” which is fun to read vivid satire on an African kleptocracy by “James” Ngugi wa Thiong'o, 700 Pages. Movies are thrillers and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered for 5 years serving community empowerment for peace and Justice Organization. I helped establish education and development projects and at point I was the Acting President for 2yrs, If interested I can teach anyone Human Rights Campaigns or Activism !!!
