About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Continue my nomadic life in the bus and connect with interesting people

ABOUT ME

I am happy in my big bus, with my two dogs Boris and Zilla. I have travelled a lot in Australia and overseas and I enjoy living my nomadic life in Australia. I reckon that I am creative, interesting and well educated, I enjoy life and celebrate it as it comes. I am non religious, but believe in concious ways of living and in respect for other peoples choices, even if they are not mine. I also respect other cultures and embrace what they have to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can do today. Respect people, live in the 'now'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer the couches of ourmy bus to travellers. Because I am - as a bus person - travelling as well, my location changes continuously. In November December 2012 I expect to be in Alice Springs, NT.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Three times so far: very positive!

Interests

I do love nature, people, photography and living a meaningful life. I like reading, am not much into television, parties or alcohol (even though I do enjoy a glass of wine on occasions). Art, both creation and absorbing, plays a major role in my life. In addition to this let me mention talking to my dogs, reading and studing science, astronomy and walking and observing nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Philosophical books, non-fiction, Sydney Morning Herald, art house movies, keyboard, classical music, alternative music, various genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The stars and night sky in Outback Australia.... wow! Meeting and interacting with Aboriginal people and a visit I made to a very cutting edge sculpture park in Belgium. There's more, but welet me stick to these three, for now.

Teach, Learn, Share

Philosophy, astronomy, art, natural environment, politics. I am interested in many topics and are open to learning new skills and expand our knowledge. English, Dutch, German (French, Russian)
