About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Not get frozen on the roadside while travelling through the Balkans
ABOUT ME
I have studied Economics for the past several years and I eventually decided it was a waste of time. Or almost, anyway. I took a year off to figure out what I would really like to do next, and until recently I'd been in Poland on an internship. I've been there for about 2 months and I'm now travelling through the Balkans with my girlfriend.
I would say I am quite easy-going. I get along well with all kinds of people and I find myself being comfortable in the most unlikely places. It isn't hard for me to focus on the full part of the glass and I tend to get the most satisfaction from simple things in life such as being with family or friends, reading something or having a good conversation.
I am decently tidy, but not a neat-freak; good with orientation, but occasionally lost; careful with my stuff, except when I lose it all over the place; and mostly on time, but sometimes an hour late(no, wait, this one's the other way around). :p
PHILOSOPHY
I like the idea of being as free from constraints, duties, obligations and responsibilities as humanly possible. I never liked to plan my life or to orient myself after very specific goals. I realise that this has some negative consequences too, but i guess what is important to me in life is not so much what I accomplish but what I experience and feel.

Interests
I love mountains and outdoor sports: trekking, trail running, mountain-biking, skiing, horseback-riding etc. I am unfortunately also quite lazy, so it takes me some time to get going, but once I'm on the road I never really want to stop...:)
While I'm gathering the strength to get off the couch I love to read about history, arts, travelling or languages; I also have a mini-obsession with maps, which I find just fascinating.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy thrillers, crime-films, suspense-films and other stuff of that kind.
Also Jack Nicholson.
I always promise myself that I will start watching more artistic-insightfull-smart movies, but I usually only get to the 'download & store for an indefinite period on computer'-stage... my hopes live on, though. Meanwhile- with an enduring sense of shame- I mostly watch sitcoms.
Favourite authors: Rejto Jeno(P.Howard), P.G. Woodhouse
My style of reading is -for better or worse- 'kangoroo-ish', which means I have read a lot of books from all kinds of genres, just not... entierly...or in the order they were meant to...
Nowdays I mostly enjoy reading about history, and also talking about it, although I tend to not open the subject, being fully-aware of the horrendous amount of boredom that this topic causes most people. :)
Music... I don't mind any kind of music, really... when I'm alone I mostly listen to an entierly eclectic combination of tracks such as Jimi Hendrix followed by Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Satriani, some dubstep, a Chopin Polonaise and the West Ham anthem. In case you are wondering at all, I know squat about music, but I enjoy it as anyone else.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took part in Romania's biggest adventure-race, 'Carpathian Adventure'. And finished it.
Then I went back again. 5 times in total.
Arguably the coolest thing I've ever done.
Whooopiiii!!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know stuff about geography, history and more or less about literature.
I can juggle with 3 balls. It's quite easy, but I never got any more advanced. Ah well.
I'm a decent mountain biker & mountaineerer so if you like such stuff I would be more than happy to join for a trip.
I would mostly like to study languages and have a speaking-partner. Right now it's German, hopefully in a year or two it'll be French.
