ABOUT ME

I'm a very openminded guy who loves to travel a lot. Between travels I teach Dutch language and literature to highschool students to raise the funds for travelling. Next to travelling my other two main interests are good food and theatre. In the theatre I like to visit any show (except for only-dance-shows), I perform in musicals and plays, I write plays, musicals and lyrics for shows and I direct.

PHILOSOPHY

Travelling = learning, treat any person the way you want to be treated, just regret the things you didn't do. Carpe diem!

I just found out I like movies, a genre that I couldn't appreciate for a long time. Favorite are anything by Tarantino, One flew over the cuckoo's nest, The silence of the lambs, Inception, Memento, etc.
I like musicals, and sing and act in musicals myself. Besides that I like hardrock, metal and classical music.
I like Dutch literature in any genre, except for science fiction and fantasy.

Most amazing places I've been: Taj Mahal, Chitchen Itza, Iceland
Most amazing thing I've done (and still do): visiting Romania every year with highschool students to help the streetchildren in Constanta, flying in a helicopter above Victoria Falls, eating any kind of animal in Southeast Asia.
