I'm an easy-going guy interested in Film, Media, Cultural Studies, Gender Studies and mostly anything that needs a lot of reading and watching :)
I recently moved back from Illinois to Barcelona finish my PhD, and I'm in the final stages.
Living with my partner in Barcelona and enjoying the city!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think CS is a great experience and I try to let everybody know about it in the US some people were scared when I told them about this...). All our guests have been interesting, and all my hosts have been excellent, many of whom are still my friends.
My ex-flatmate was a couchsurfer long before I became one, so I've been hosting CS's long before I was a member, and the experience itself encouraged me to begin hosting once I got my own place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, long before I even knew CS existed I was hosting friends from around the world. I guess it began right after my Erasmus in Sweden, where I met people from all around. It really is the best way to travel. Plus you get to know many many different people! :)

It is one of the most amazing things I've seen. Amazing country, nicest people and totally unknown to almost the whole world. The combo Armenia+Georgia is one of my to-do trips!

I love languages and teach them as a profession. that'll be my main asset. I'll try to cook if you let me. I can hold any conversation for hours. my partner is from the north, so good food is assured!
