ABOUT ME

About Anna: I am a young woman. living in Copenhagen in the central district Vesterbro (west bridge) which is a very modern place but also very local and filled with inspiring, happy people, cultural events, festivals, shops and good places to hang out. I go to school in the district Nørrebro (north bridge) which is like Vesterbro but a little more alternatively, very multicultural and vibrant. I am studying at the "free high school" which is a school with lots of different secondary educations in one place, I'm studying currently psychology, visual arts and math. And I love it, maybe apart from math. My classes are filled with all sorts of different types of people, sex, age and ideologies are messed around in a big great mass, so some days am I talking about punk music with the 16 year old tough girls and some days I discuss childrearing with 40 year olds cool ladies, pretty amazing, if you ask me.
I have an huge Interest in art, and as my father is an artist, I have always been around with him and therefore inside the art enviroment from when I was quite small. I spend a lot of my time to go to exhibitions, both here in Denmark but always when I travel, both contemporary art and all other kinds. I paint and draw constantly, I'm about to make a performance video for my exam in visual art this summer, and I have also explored sculpture, design, film and photography. One day if I'm lucky I'll try to enter one of the world's art academies, in Copenhagen, perhaps, but it could also be great to study and work in a completely different country, this is my future plan until now. In my spare time I hang out with my friends who are all very different but unique people we cook and drink wine, go out to party, relax, play music, dance and go to the cinema and travel together some times when we got money. I have been a dj a few years and played in a cool little dj team with my good friend rebecca, but we wanted to do something new, so now we play mostly for fun and at some political parties sometimes. I love movies and if I were to mention my favorites here..well I wouldn’t be able to do that.. I go to the movies a couple times a week at a place called “Cinemateket” or “the film house” in Copenhagen where they show old and new films, different each day. Music is my passion too, I'm not picky, I listen to everything that I like, whether it is old, new, young, forgotten, high, low, I'm not fussy. I also love food and my mother is a cook and from Catalonia so she has taught me all her secret delicious spanish recipes so I often make small dinner parties for me and my friends, I also dance flamenco once a week and loves the Spanish culture and beautiful history, if you have seen the Spanish movie director Pedro Almondova’s movies, then you know why! I love literature, it is difficult to say who's my favorite authors and genres but right now I read two books: Tom Waits interviews, lyrics and good stuff collected in a book and Henry Miller "Tropic of Cancer", simply beautiful, I love henry… I love to travel, and several times a year, and spend most of my money on tickets to places all around the world and using every opportunity to get away, not because I don’t love my city, but because I am so absorbed in something new and different. I love hand to hand clothing, occult and paranormal things like witches, magic potions and ghost stories, rollerblading, and go for walks with my black dog Zeus, meet new people who will dazzle me, drinking coffee (black with a little sugar in it), dancing and maybe I will one day begin meditate, play in a band, start a cult, write a book? Who knows? I am very open minded! xoxo Anna

i am an openminded girl and i like to meet people from all over the world.
at the moment i deliver mails once a week and work daily in a childrens garden. i am raising money for me to travel by january 2011. music is very inspiring to me and i have a very broad taste both underground and commercial. also i attend bollywood dancing and breakdancing. breakdancing is very new to me, but i like to practice. it gives me lots of fun. if you want i can show you some. also i want to experience much more in this life and i like to spent a lot of time relfecting on myself and the life i have and share with all of you
