ABOUT ME

A picture is worth a thousand words...or so I've been told. I'm a twenty-something, I teach first-year composition at BSU.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very active thinker and sometimes keep myself awake from over thinking. I'm politically aware, but not very active. My liberal friends call me a right-winger and my conservative family calls me a liberal, but I'd classify myself as an independent cynical realist. I'd say I try to be thoughtful and careful not to allow myself to settle into what I consider a rut, spiritually or mentally. I live my life by a complex set of morals and convictions, but I'm pretty accepting of everybody's lifestyle--even if I prefer not to associate with them--so long as they aren't causing any harm.

I have pretty eclectic taste in both music and films. My favorite book is "Crime and Punishment", and I also have a voracious appetite for good memoirs and non-fiction.
