ABOUT ME
I studied Journalism in University not really because I wanted to become a reporter but more because I was able to continuously learn about new things. What developed was a healthy curiosity and love for new people and new places. Listening to people who are passionate about life inspires me.
PHILOSOPHY
This life is full of blessings
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Im new! Never tried it but did go to a dinner once with two couch surfers( I didn't previously know) in LA and it was really cool to hear where they came from and what they were doing.
I hope to get to see awesome places and meet great people along the way and I think couchsurfing might be a great road to take.
Interests
I think you could say I am a jack of all trades and a master of none. I like doing athletic things like playing basketball, golf, running. This season I want to get more into snowboarding.
I currently work doing maintenance. I love working with my hands but I am still learning a ton. I have an old 77 chevy pick up that I like to tinker around with and learn about when I have spare time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to read. I just recently finished Emily St. John Mandel's Station 11. It was a good read. I also just finished Alan Patton's Cry, the Beloved Country which I loved but might not be for everyone. I was a huge fan of Harry Potter growing up.
I was raised listening to music from the 60's and 70's so I really enjoy music from that era. I also enjoy contemporary hits and really get pumped when a song includes a brass section (i.e the Mighty Mighty Bosstones). Really, I enjoy just about anything but what I listen to usually depends on the mood Im in or the mood I want to be in.
Independent movies and blockbusters are both awesome because I think both have something to offer people.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived and worked in a small township called Hannisville. It is located just on the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. It was only for a couple of weeks back in college but it was definitely some kind of spectacular.
Teach, Learn, Share
I simply love to learn new things. For example I just learned that Andrew Carnegie and John D Rockefeller were huge rivals during there lifetimes. So much so that they would send each other Christmas gifts mocking one another every year!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share preferred drink, stories from the past and dreams about the future. I hope hosts will bless me with their hospitality.
Countries I’ve Visited
