I very often travel for business (in North America most of the time). I work for a major U.S. company ... I withhold the name, but there are some clues in my profile.

My expectations when I travel are very different from others I think. I don't take pictures, I don't buy tourist stuff compulsively (but some postcards).
I want te see how people live their daily lives.

I live in the heart of Little Italy in Toronto... Old habits die hard... And even in North America, I had to find a Europeanish neighborhood :)

I used to take part in both hosting and couchsurfing. I now mainly use the site when I travel and to get insights from locals through forums and groups. However, I can still host :) I now live downtown Toronto with the most lovely woman in the entire world (and CouchSurfers have seen quite of the world, so we know what we are talking about) and hosting is a co-decision so check out her profile too (Verena in my friends' list).

I'm not often home, so chance I can host you are slim. But give it a try, who knows. Most likely last minute request though.
