ABOUT ME

Grew up in small(ish) town Texas, went to college for Photojournalism, and at age 25 moved to Colorado to pursue a photography career in a place with far better scenery. After a few years of being a starving artist and working random photo gigs across Colorado, I just felt it was time for a change. Up until the age of 28, I had only ever lived in tightly packed neighborhoods and apartment complexes. But in the last year, I've moved into a cabin in Colorado on top of a mountain and turned the place into a homestead. It has been one helluva learning experience and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Currently, I am a father of 8 and loving being a dad! Well, ok, I've got 3 schizophrenic goldfish, 4 beautiful European show chickens, and a spoiled, gluten-free pit bull named Debo.

Free-spirited, open-minded, willing to try almost anything twice, loves to be outdoors, dogs love to be around me. I love to travel and meet new and interesting people. I often find myself in some of the strangest places with the strangest people, but it makes a for the best stories later.

I have only surfed upon a single couch, but it was a great experience and I look forward to many more. I would also like to host some travelers coming through Fort Collins, Colorado. So hit me up when you're coming through! Can't wait to meet some new folks.

I can enjoy mostly all music, besides the screaming emo stuff. You know, it doesn't really do it for me. But everything else, can be enjoyed in the right environment with the right people. Not a huge movie buff and my friends are always surprised by how many movies I haven't seen. I am probably the worst movie watching buddy anyway, since I fall asleep half way through like 93% of movies. My favorite book would be Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer.
