ABOUT ME

I´m an openminded friendly and helpful girl, who loves to get to know new people, with their opinions, culture and all those little things that make each person special.

I am a little bit chaotic from time to time, but I can always manage it to sort things out (I don´t know how, but it works ;-)

right now, I am working as a designer and I am trying (as good as I can, when the sun is shining in summertime :-) to work on my master thesis, so I am pretty busy from time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My first couchsurfing experienc is quite a while ago now. I was in Freiburg, Germany then, the first time abroad without knowing people, so I joined CS and found some real cool people and had a great time. Since then, I couchsurfed from time to time when traveling (often it´s quite difficult to organize when you´re traveling for a longer time) and I host people in nearly every place I was living so far.

For me, CS is about sharing and getting to know new people. But I think it´s also about having a free place to stay. (I guess that nearly everybody knows that you have to safe money, when traveling) so, if you want to stay with me and there is time to hang out, go for a walk, have a drink, ... it´s great, but if you just need a place to rest without having the need to hang out all the time, it´s fine for me aswell (feels a bit like having a flatmate and I was living with people nearly all of my life) ...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started CS when during my internship in Freiburg and I really loved it. Since then, I made really nice experiences in hosting and staying in different places. It´s great to meet people who live in the place you are visiting - and, since CS people are openminded and friendy - it´s even better to meet them

Interests

There are so many things I am interessted in: art, photography, books, nature, travelling, music, ... I think I can get fascinated by a lot if ideas and things.
I´d love to know more films (I wish I would have more time to see them)

since a while I am really interessted in taking pictures, I have some analog and a digital camera that I like to bring most of the time

I was going out a lot, since a while I am a bit more quiet, I like to meet people in the evernings, having a few drinks, some chats, or going to a concert

I also like sports, hiking, snowboarding, jogging, swimming, sailing, ...

Music, Movies, and Books

Since I studied Austrian Studies, I read a lot of Austrian writers, such as Thomas Bernhard, Musil, Kafka (if you consider him as austrian)
But I like aswell Herman Hesse, Tiziano Terzini, Isabell Allende, George Orwell, ... there are may good books
Tarantino films, Juno, Little Miss Sunshine ... I have seen a lot of good, films, but if I get asked about them, they won´t come to my mind.
I really love MUSIC! Nearly all types of music, but my favourites are, Manu Chao, The Doors, MGMT, The Clash, Simon& Garfunkel, Interpol, Parov Stelar, the Cure, and a lots of now much known stuff ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a lot of impressive, fascinating, funny, wonderful things in my life, especially when I was traveling, but as well during ordinary life, ... so it´s pretty difficult to point out one or two of them

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you the basics of taking pictures, tell you a bit about Austria, ... maybe how to make bread ... I guess I am not the teaching type
