About Me

CURRENT MISSION

We enjoy meeting new people from other areas of the country and world.

ABOUT ME

Faye and I are close to retirement, and we're looking forward to full time travel. There are many places we want to see, and "resee."

PHILOSOPHY

Faye and I are both Christians, and try to life our life according to Jesus' teachings, and not the teachings of the church, although we do listen, and then compare.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are just getting started with CS2. We have been participating for a year with a "like" organization called Motorcycle Travel Network.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience thus far.

Interests

We both enjoy traveling. We've been to about 25 foreign countries, and many states. We love cruising, both on cruise ships and our Goldwing motorcycle. We also enjoy ballroom dancing, woodworking, yardwork and anything creative.

Music, Movies, and Books

We love all James Bond movies, certain action and comedies. We are avid readers. I play electric bass guitar for a Christian jazz orchrastra.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most treasured memories is helping build a church in South Africa. We stayed with a black family who treated us just like family. The singing was such that musical instruments were not needed; they were their own instruments.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are many things about a home that I can teach folks. We designed built our home in 1994. Though it's not the best skilled built house, it is unique. We couldn't afford a lot of expensive items in the house, so I substituted a lot of faux. For example, I painted tile on one wall, and many people to not realize it is real until I tell them.
