ABOUT ME

Hi. How are you? I'm a student, ready to take on the world with my ability to play music and ride my bike everywhere I go (except across Canada, when I'll be Greyhounding it.) I'm an enthused friend of our environment and can't wait to use music to affect people in a positive way when I get the degree that I'm starting in September (music therapy/social work) at University of Windsor.

PHILOSOPHY

I live with intention. I believe that we, as people, have the ability to affect the world through our decisions (even the little ones we make everyday like hopping in our cars when we've got a five minute bike ride to the store) and so I try to really think things through and live being kind to people and our beautiful earth.

Interests

Music; my first love, my livelihood. I have played piano for about ten years (classically trained) but then went into a Jazz/Contemporary program where I fell in love with anyone from Chick Corea to Ben Folds Five. I'm also interested in activism, and using the skills I have to change the world through music in the least pretentious way possible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been teaching piano for almost two years and plan on doing this for the rest of my life. I'm going to be a music therapist/social worker and would for sure be willing to help the community using my degree.
