ABOUT ME

I'm living in Spain for the next few months, I absolutely love it here. While I'm here I'm trying to see as many places in Europe as I can, and make every moment count. I'm very laid back, and I think I'm pretty darn nice. I love doing new things, pushing limits, all that good stuff. I have more of a dry/sarcastic sense of humor according to some, but I always mean well. I love science and math, right now I'm trying to decide between Physics or Chemistry as a major. Doesn't mean I'm a nerd!

PHILOSOPHY

Honestly, I'm not a very religious or spiritual person. I believe that we have one shot at this life, and that's it. Hopefully we'll all "live on" by being remembered by loved ones, but we only get one chance at this life. And there is always that chance that your life is going to be cut short. So we should all live our lives at their fullest, experience as much as we can and try to be as happy as we can until we can't anymore.

I am, however, really open to whatever people believe. As long as whatever people believe works for them somehow, by making them hopeful, optimistic, or anything along those lines, it works for me. I would never try to change someone's mind, as long as they don't try to change mine.

That probably all came out really cheesy or strange, so give me the benefit of the doubt I'm only 20 :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm staying with my mom while I'm here in Spain, we just moved into an apartment and are still sleeping on airbeds ourselves. So we can't exactly host anyone now. And I can't speak Spanish that well yet, but I know a couple of good restaurants and coffee places in the area that I could take people to.

Also I'm working on finding some bike-riding and hiking trails in the area, if you want to do that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far have only had one experience, I went canyoning and "rock-climbing" (Via Ferrata) with an awesome Australian in Alquezar. I loved it!

兴趣

I love meeting new people and finding new places to go. I am also all about hiking, bike-riding, and all that good stuff. I'm working on becoming one of those hardcore people who can go for miles and miles without breaking a sweat. I still have a bit to go though, ha. Much more of a dog-person than a cat-person. I don't really know what else to say, there aren't many things that I don't like to do (except clean), and I always love trying new things. Except I am afraid of heights. I'm okay with being in high places, but it's the jumping off that gets me.

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm pretty into documentaries, the nerdy science ones, more than actual movies. I don't have Netflix anymore, and I haven't had a TV in a while, but I used to love watching all the awesome documentaries that they have.

I like just about all music, however I don't ever remember names of the songs or the singers/bands.

Right now I'm reading the Count of Monte Cristo, and I think it's my favorite book I've read. It's extremely long and I haven't had much time to read it as of late, so it's taking quite a while, but I still love it.
I also just read this book called Quantum Evolution not too long ago, it's right up there with The Count of Monte Cristo.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Right now, living in a whole new country, is probably the most amazing and exciting thing I've done. I've enjoyed every minute of it so far, and I'm hoping to return to the States having wayy more knowledge of the rest of the world than when I left.
