ABOUT ME

I'm a free spirited open minded and fun loving kind of girl...I love music, dancing, my wonderful friends new and old, travelling of course (that's why we're all on here,hey?)I spend most of my days cutting up old sweaters and spreading the warm fuzzy fashion :) I also work in film and TV sometimes as a costume designer.I love to cook for my peeps when I have time. Before I got into fashion, I worked as a baker in a vegetarian cafe. I'll eat almost anything except bottom feeders and fungi. But I love fun guys! (and girls)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couchsurfed and partied with some great peeps in BC, Seattle, San Francisco and Baja. And I've hosted some great peeps from all over the world. Just about everyone I've met through CS has been my kind of people - fun, real and interesting . Hosting is the next best thing when my time or funds don't allow me to travel :)

I love a wide variety of music...Lately: C'mon, Owen Pallet, Hey Rosetta!, Metric, Jenn Grant, Corb Lund,Melissa McLelland, Great Lake Swimmers... lately all I listen to is CBC 3 online. The music scene in St.John's is incredible for such a small city. I can't even keep up with all the bands.These days,most extra curricular reading is in the form of scripts. I'm almost embarrassed to admit, I'll read almost anything put in front of me and my mother is always pushing fluffy novels on me...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Seeing the Palenke ruins in Mexico was pretty awesome....so was coming across a pack of wild horses in a backroad forest in Northern Saskatchewan.

I can teach you how to hula hoop and if you like it, I can help you make your own.

And I am a costume/fashion designer, so I can cut,sew, dye, embroider, etc just about anything textile related or figure it out if I don't already have the skill.
