Nursing school 24/7
I grew up in Seward, Alaska, U.S.A. (a tiny fishing town). I love Alaska and am sure my life will take me back there someday, just not yet. I'm currently living in Yonkers, NY and going to school for nursing. It's stressing me out, man. Only 1 more year though! After that I'm going to sign up with a travel nursing agency and go EVERYWHERE on their dime. My main squeeze, Spencer, moved to New York with me and he's also going to school full time. We're both very easy to get along with and I would describe us as being quite chill.
Don't sweat the little shit, and it's all little shit. This was my father's mantra as I was growing up and I appreciate it more each time I experience a "catastrophe" only to realize it's not that big of a deal. It'll be okay :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosted before, looking to surf all over the world someday. I became involved in the Sacramento CS community when I lived there, and look forward to doing the same here in Westchester County! Recently, we opened up our couch but often cannot host because we're crazy-busy and when we get down time we're traveling ourselves.
My Couchsurfing experiences have all been very positive. Between me and my former roommates we've hosted people from Colombia, Seattle, Portland, Delaware, California and Switzerland, I love the merging of cultures!! Two years ago, I left my frozen north and moved to Sacramento, CA and knew NO ONE. I became involved in the CS community there and met some awesome people.
Traveling - if it were up to me I would wake up in a new location every week. Also, camping, fishing, hiking, cycling, pottery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed up all night fishing and caught a 250 lb halibut. Not only was our luck phenominal but it was the best fishing I will have in my life because it was shared with friends and family.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to filet a salmon in 6 seconds flat and how to tell if there is going to be an avalanche. I'd like to learn more about where ever you are from.
Most recently, as I complete my education I realize how much there is to KNOW! Learning never ceases if you continue to ask questions and discover.
