ABOUT ME

I'm a recent' graduate from SUNY New Paltz, born and raised in Long Island, New York. I'm on my way to Wyoming to give organic vegetable farming a try, because that's what you do with a degree in Political Science, right?
My friends think I'm crazy for signing up with WWOOF, but I think it's the best decision I've ever made

PHILOSOPHY

I'm beginning to shift form information gathering to understanding. You can read all the books and newspapers in the world and still not have a clue what really goes on. Now that I'm out of school, I'd like to do some exploring out in the real world before I start pretending that I understand it.

Thus far I have none. The trip I'm about to embark on would be my first major excursion into the world.

兴趣

Hiking and camping. I'd love to do the full AT one day. Bouldering and mountaineering. I like to swim, more than that I like discovering new places to swim. Rock climbing if I could afford it. I'm an aspiring amateur cycler. If you can do it outside, I'll probably be interested.

I love to read. The last few years have been mostly assigned, peer-reviewed stuff, but I try to keep my head in some fiction as well. Currently reading George R.R. Martin's A song of Ice and Fire series, I'm only on book 2 right now.

My music taste is all over the place. Indie Rock, Electronic, Folk, Experimental Rock, on and on, I love it all. Genres are silly anyway.

Any summit in Acadia National Park, and I've seen most of them, will leave you speechless. Also, class VI white water is terrifying, but perhaps the bigest adrenaline rush I've ever had. I recommend both.
