Hi! My name is Caden born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and still call it my home. I currently am attending the University of Utah studying Marketing and Media Arts. I love Utah and all the different opportunities it provides with such easy access. Nothing beats riding the greatest snow on earth in the morning making it back for afternoon classes, then meeting amazing people downtown. That being said I am always looking for chances to get out and experience new people, places, and culture! Looking forward to meeting many of you, be it in my home town where I can show you the things I love about Salt Lake or vise versa!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Nothing excites me more than the idea of traveling to a new place and getting to experience it via a local who shares the same passion for travel and interaction as I do. When I travel I plan to get a true experience of the culture and local life of the destination. Couchsurfing for me is the ultimate way to achieve these things. A giant network of likeminded people pumped on one idea, sharing this wonderful world we live in and learning all along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all music, partial to acoustic. Cloud Atlas and the Alchemist come to mind when thinking favorite books but there are countless other I love just the same. Wes Anderson films make my grin like a 4 year old the whole movie, Indie movies, and basically anything that can tell a story in a unique way!

Teach, Learn, Share

Can show you all around SLC if i'm hosting. I'm a certified snowboard insturctor, taught wakeboarding for years and have access to gear and a boat, local craft beers are a passion of mine. I'll take you climbing, hiking, snowshoeing, you name it lets do it. Love photography and would love to share that knowledge or learn from others, lets shoot! Always looking to learn about local customs and hot spots that won't show up on a google search. SURFING is number one on my list of things to learn so if you can help with that I'll love you forever. Never been great at picking up language but always looking to learn what I can. Share with me your favorite films, music, art, and books please! Can we make a secret hand shake?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cash, food, beer, snacks, positive attitude, I'll clean you place like my mom counted to 3, good vibes, a great hug, down for any adventures or activities.. if i've got my car I'll drive and cover gas. Low maintenance. If you want to interact, hit the town, hike, and just adventure lets do it and have a great time! If you want to keep your space do your thing, I'll be out of your way and quiet as a church mouse.
