ABOUT ME

I'm Kasia. Put on my navy blue jacket, checked shawl, slack trousers ready to go! on my white, beautiful dutch bike. Wind in my hair, speed in my legs, smile on my face:)
I like sitting on a balcony, observing planes, dreaming about my future travels.
My balcony is also a great place to meet my friends, drink wine, eat something tasty, talk and laugh:)
My mind still remembers being a child before, so I like simple little things like rain drops falling down on my face, smelling flowers for hours, giving cute, tiny surprises to my friends.
I'm an observer and thinker.
I love Warsaw, the city I live in, because it's full of contradictions.
I like nature and old, wooden huts.
I like my hair.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through CouchSurfing I travelled only in Romania. That was a great experience! I met wonderful people there:)

Music, Movies, and Books

I read books which attract my attention by the title, author, description, first page or contents. Now I'm reading "Tango in Buenos Aires" by Tomas Eloy Martinez. It's because I like tango, now I hear Astor Piazzolla and I feel like going to Buenos Aires to see people dancing on the street!
Among my authors are Milan Kundera, Ian Mcewan, Elizabeth Gilbert, Beata Pawlikowska, Ryszard Kapuściński, Olga Tokarczuk, Andrzej Stasiuk...I like biographies and psychological books. But my favourite is "The Little Prince"

Music may spirit you away. There are some tunes that make my fly. I can keep repeating them for many hours like "Tea for two" by Art Tatum, "El tango" by Astor Piazzolla, "Take five" by Dave Brubeck, "Come to me" by Koop,"Little wing" by Jimi Hendrix. I like piano and violin sounds, Chopin, Michael Nyman, Leszek Możdżer, Zaz, Serge Gainsbourg, Madeleine Peyroux, Nina Simone, Caro Emerald...

I like organizing with my friends film nights. We project films on the sheet and spend hours watching them.
