i'm slowly becoming addicted to caffè, one cappuccino at a time.

i like to eat, i like to cook... criossants, mangoes, cappuccinos, banana bread, foie gras, huitlacoche, taro leaves simmered in coconut milk, melon balls, spring quails, gnocchi, fresh eggy pasta, corn tortillas, fried green tomatoes, individual warm chocolate cakes, chicken tacos, oaxaca cheese quesadillas, brown sugar oat muffins, buttermilk pancakes, south carolina corn grits with cheese, bufala mozzarella from napoli, ribollita, caffè, gelato ...everything.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I lived on an olive farm near Siena (in Italy) with an elderly Italian couple who owned the farm, to help out for the duration of the olive harvest. Needless to say, this was an amazing experience, and has kindled a new love for olive oil (not that I didn't love the stuff beforehand :)
