Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION
make a life for myself as an adventurer
ABOUT ME
I'm a wanderer, explorer, adventurer, definitely a soul searcher.
I find (or can make) a home in many places. I embrace that I am a constantly changing person, letting go of past lives to make new ones, dynamic.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that every person is unique and has their own personal meaning in life. I believe in being good to other people and being good to myself. I find truth in a mixture of Buddhist teachings, metaphysics and trust in my own experiences.
Life is about change, in our environments and in ourselves. It's about living in the present moment and enjoying everything for what it is, not for how we want it to be different.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now, I'm looking to surf. Adventurous travelling. Meeting new people.
I can be both independent or social. I'll sleep on floors. I'm not picky. I'm adaptable. And respectful.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been plugged into this community for a little while now, having met couchsurfers and hosts in the past (some of them being my friends), and have couchsurfed informally (not through the website) so far. Looking forward to hosting in the future, when I'm a little more settled.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Set up a 3 day moto trip with a local Cambodian to explore the northwest. First leg (and the inspiration for the whole trip) was a 7 hour (straight!) moto drive to the disputed Prasat Preah Vihear. The Thais have been claiming this as their temple for years, even after the UN 'solved' the disputes and claimed it as belonging to Cambodia. A week before I went, conflicts that had recently started again were calming down. There were no tourists. It is one of the most magical places I've ever been.
Orange moon rises on rocky shores on the east side of Koh Tao, Thailand. Drinking tea water and being encompassed my silence after climbing 2 and a half hours up the mountain on Miyajima island, Japan. Ate crickets and crab brains. Got staff access and partied with the VJs at Amnesia, Ibiza. Met a Malaysian activist and got insight on the laundering of illegal logging money through Canadian real estate. From the roof of a high rise shopping plaza, watched the city of Tokyo slowly transition for day to night, Japan. Got chased by a cow while hashing in the countryside of Cambodia. Street dancing aerobics in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia.
