I’m a fiddler of 40 plus years versed in many styles from classical to jazz and old-time but with a current passion for traditional Irish music. Also play whistle, bouzouki, and currently learning concertina. I’m also subsistence farmer on my homestead in the mountains of western NC, with a passion for tree crops (fruits and nuts). And I’m a father of an amazing 5 year old boy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Embarking on a musical pilgrimage to Ireland and hoping to find likeminded folks to stay with. Also interested in hosting on my farm in Appalachia. I love the idea of gift economy and networking as mutual aid.
