My mission it to gain experience, learn, meet people, and explore the world in which I live. I can't stand the idea of simply being a bystander, and wish to impact my environment to make a change for the better.

ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Cain, and I love to travel. I live for new experiences. I'm really friendly and almost everyone knows me, although I'm really bad with names and faces. I'm very open minded and love meeting people different from me. I can respect everyone's viewpoints. I enjoy deep conversation, the outdoors, going on adventures, spontaneous decisions, nice people, and sleep.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel strongly that you should be the change that you want to see in the world. Of course, do unto others as you would have done unto you. Pay it forward is a big one for me. I believe in karma, and that everyone should be as good of a parson as they care to be. Also, I'm an eclectic Pagan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couchsurfing, but I'm really excited about making new friends and gaining new experiences. I am excited about surfing. I would definitely be willing to host, but as a college student I'm not able to host anyone in this tiny dorm room! I participate in my own life by taking action. Rather than extensive planning, procrastination, or fear, I try to just do. I participate in the lives of others around me by being a listening ear, a helping hand, and giving a bit of guidance when my opinion is asked. I always try to pay it forward and improve the quality of life for those around me. I participate in my community by taking action. If I see something I don't like, I work for a change. I'm not hesitant to spend my free time with community service and volunteering at helpful organizations. I feel that I should try to help improve the quality of life for myself and those around me.

Interests

As for hobbies and interests, I LOVE anything outdoors, love gaming (moderately) mostly RPGs, I love spinning poi, drawing, running, longboarding, traveling, community service, or getting involved in the community in general, pipe smoking, hookah, crocheting, wood working, divination, reading (mostly Non-fiction, knowledge is power!), and plenty of other things that I cannot think of at this point in time. I'm a jack of all trades, and a master of none. Netflix is amazing, enough said.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Doctor Who, The Original Twilight Zone, Teen Titans, Samurai Jack, Angry Beaver, CatDog, Invader Zim, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and most of the Marvel movies, The Dukes of Hazard, and lots of other things. I can appreciate pretty much any bit of literary work. I love almost ALL music. As for all time favorite groups/artists, Disturbed, Guns 'N Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, Ellie Goulding, SJ Tucker, Classified, Marilyn Manson, Eminem, Flux Pavilion, Bassnectar, Florence and the Machine, Snoop Dogg , The Decemberists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've crossed the vast desserts of Arizona and New Mexico, walked trails of the smokey mountains, ventured throughout the concrete jungles of St. Louis, Chicago, and Nashville. I've swam in the waters of Gulf Shores and Dauphin Island. I've stayed on the USS Alabama Battleship, and hiked the trails of Fort Donaldson and Shiloh battlefield. I've Sailed through the city of Portland, Oregon, and traveled into the wilderness of Michigan for music and hippies. Yet I still crave adventure, I long for the road. Hopefully, my adventures are just beginning.
